In my small town schools rule. It's the largest employer in town and the reason many moved to this bedroom community. So school district complaints are common.
Today a woman called because she has to wait in line like everybody else.
There is a car pick up line in front of the elementary school where parents are supposed to wait. She prefers to park in the parking lot and walk up to the school to get her child then walk to the parking lot. The line is too fast-paced for her, the mom said.
What are you teaching your child? It's OK to make yourself an exception to the rule? You don't have to follow the rules if you don't like it?
Sorry lady (who left a voicemail refusing to give her name but did leave a phone number), that's not a story.
Wait in line like everybody else.
